Technical Proficiency
Professional Journey
From Junior Developer to Lead Developer and Partner. Over the past decade, I have built and managed digital platforms for government sectors, high-impact NGOs, and mass media. My approach has always been hybrid: writing robust code across the entire stack while ensuring the cloud infrastructure supporting it is flawless, efficient, and secure. I lead by example, backed by the experience of operating systems in real-world, high-demand environments. Here is how my professional journey breaks down:
Tech Lead
2021 - PresentLead the technical strategy, software architecture, and cloud infrastructure for one of Mexico's highest-traffic political news platforms. Responsible for ensuring 99.9% uptime and high availability during critical, high-concurrency events (such as national elections) by optimizing AWS resources, implementing robust caching strategies, and managing Cloudflare security layers. Mentor and guide a core dev team, successfully bridging the gap between full-stack feature delivery and scalable DevOps/infrastructure automation.
Full Stack & Cloud Infrastructure Developer
Independent Professional / Freelance
2019 - PresentDeliver end-to-end technical consulting, full-stack development, and cloud infrastructure management for high-profile non-profits, legal tech organizations, and government entities. Specialized in turning complex data and public services into secure, high-availability web platforms. Take full ownership of the lifecycle—from UI architecture and backend logic to cloud provisioning, server hardening, and performance optimization. Key projects include launching the CDMX Government service portal (Centro en Línea), building data-driven tracking platforms (Corruptómetro - Tojil), and optimizing high-traffic economic analysis sites (México Cómo Vamos).
Partner / Full Stack Developer
Átomo Creative Lab
2019 - PresentLead the engineering efforts and technical execution for a technology firm delivering tailored digital solutions. Architect and deploy secure frontend and backend web applications from scratch, while fully managing cloud services and Linux server administration. Act as a strategic technical partner for clients, translating business requirements into cost-efficient, scalable, and highly secure cloud environments.
Full Stack Developer / Server Admin
Mexicanos vs Corrupción e Impunidad A.C.
2017 - 2021Managed the full-stack lifecycle and server infrastructure for a high-profile, high-impact non-profit organization. Engineered custom web applications and secure WordPress themes, while taking full ownership of cloud environment monitoring, data protection, and server security audits to safeguard sensitive journalistic and investigative data against external threats.
Web Developer Jr.
Creaphiks
2016 - 2017Developed responsive frontend web applications and custom WordPress themes, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and clean UI execution. Gained early, hands-on experience in cloud computing by provisioning and configuring core Amazon Web Services (AWS), laying the groundwork for a career focused on the synergy between code and infrastructure.
Information System Development
National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery "Manuel Velasco Suárez"
2015 - 2016Designed and implemented an enterprise-level Information System to automate course management, handle the medical residency admission process, and track the academic progress of residents. Gathered complex institutional requirements to deliver a secure, database-driven system that drastically reduced processing times for academic administration.
Academic Background
My educational path bridges the gap between scientific analysis and advanced software engineering. Starting with a technical background focused on diagnostics and system optimization, I later transitioned into computer science, fully developing my skills in software architecture and cloud infrastructure. This combination of disciplines has shaped my structured approach to solving complex technical challenges. Here is my academic timeline:
B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering
Escuela Superior de Cómputo (ESCOM) - IPN
Acquired a rigorous education in advanced computer science, software engineering principles, and systems architecture. Developed a deep understanding of core algorithms, database design, and distributed systems, while building the technical discipline and engineering methodologies required to design scalable, secure, and high-performance digital solutions.
Technical Degree in Environmental Diagnostics and Improvement
CECYT N° 10 "Carlos Vallejo Márquez" - IPN
Gained an early scientific and analytical background focused on systems analysis, environmental data monitoring, and process optimization. This specialized technical training heavily instilled in me a structured approach to problem-solving, laboratory discipline, and diagnostics, which later served as a unique foundation for my transition into software engineering and cloud infrastructure.
